Terms of Use
Effective date: 5 September 2026 (Asia/Bangkok). Version 1.0.
These terms are the agreement between you and the company that runs NearMe.Careers. Please read them before you post a job or apply for one. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.
1. Who this agreement is between
Using NearMe.Careers means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
- Workers — anyone who looks at jobs, applies for one, or opens a work record. You need no account, no password, and no profile.
- Employers — anyone who signs in to post a job, read applications, or buy credits.
- W S Studio Co., Ltd. — the company that runs the app and the website, called "we" below.
The privacy policy at /privacy explains what personal data we hold and is part of this agreement.
2. What NearMe.Careers is, and what it is not
- It is a board. Employers post day-labour jobs; workers see the jobs near them and apply.
- It is not an employment agency, a labour recruiter, or a broker. We do not place anyone in work and we take no fee from a worker, ever.
- It is not the employer. The person who posts the job is the employer.
- We are not a party to the work agreement. The employer and the worker agree the work, the wage, the hours, and the place between themselves.
- We do not check, select, or recommend an employer or a worker. What we show is what they wrote, plus counts of what they have done on the app.
The agreement to work is between the employer and the worker. It is theirs to keep, and theirs to settle if it goes wrong.
3. Workers use the service without an account
- There is no worker account. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to log in to, and no password to lose.
- Before an application is sent we send a code by SMS to the phone number you typed. Entering that code proves that the number is yours for that one application. It does not create an account.
- Your work record — the jobs you finished, the wages both sides confirmed, and the ratings — is reached by verifying the same phone number again. What you get is a session that expires after 30 days, and it can be cancelled at any time.
- A link you share to show your work record also expires after 30 days, and you can cancel it before that.
Because there is no password, the phone number is the key. Anyone holding that number can reach the record attached to it, so keep the number, and any link you share, with care.
4. Employers sign in with LINE
- An employer signs in with LINE Login and verifies a phone number. We do not ask for an email address and we do not set a password.
- The shop or company name you enter must be the real one. Workers decide whether to come to you by reading it.
- You are responsible for everything posted, sent, or bought from your account. If someone else gets into it, tell us.
- One business, one account. Extra accounts made to get around a limit in these terms may be closed.
We may refuse an account, or close one, when it is used to break these terms.
5. Credits and posting a job
- A credit is a digital item that lets you publish one job post. It is not money, it is not a deposit, and it cannot be exchanged for cash.
- A new employer is given a starter grant of credits at sign-up. The number is shown in the app.
- Publishing spends one credit while you still have one, and a post paid with a credit stays visible for the longer of the two posting periods.
- While the free period is open, an employer with no credits left can still post a limited number of times a day, and a free post stays visible for the shorter period. The exact numbers, the daily limit, and the date the free period ends are shown in the app.
- Credits are bought inside the mobile app through Google Play. The store confirms the purchase, and the credits are added to your balance once it has.
Credits do not expire while the account is open. Unused credits are not refunded — not if you stop using the app, and not if you close your account. A purchase made through Google Play is separately covered by Google's own refund process.
6. Wages: money for the work never passes through us
- The wage is agreed between the employer and the worker, before the work starts.
- It is paid directly, in cash, or by scanning a PromptPay QR code. That code carries the worker's own account, so the money goes from the employer straight to the worker.
- We never receive the wage, never hold it, and never pass it on. There is no wallet and no escrow in this app.
- The wage entry in the work record is a record that both sides confirmed an amount. It is not a payment, and it is not a promise by us that the amount will be paid.
Buying credits is the one payment that comes to us, and it buys posting on the app and nothing else. If a wage is not paid, that is between the employer and the worker; you can report it to us, and you can take it to the labour authorities.
7. Rules for a job post
- Post only a real job that you are actually hiring for, at a place a worker can go to.
- The work must be legal. No work that a law forbids, and nothing that puts a worker in the way of a crime.
- Do not hire anyone under 18 through NearMe.Careers.
- Never ask a worker for money to get the job — no deposit, no uniform fee, no application fee, no training fee, no transport paid up front.
- Do not take a worker's identity card, passport, bank book, or work permit to keep. You may look at a document; you may not hold it.
- State the pay, the hours, the place, and the work plainly, and do not change them after someone has agreed to come.
- Do not turn people away for reasons that have nothing to do with the work, and do not write such conditions into the post.
- One post for one real vacancy. Do not repost the same job to sit at the top, and do not use the app to advertise anything other than work.
A post that breaks these rules can be hidden or removed without notice, and the account that made it can be suspended.
8. Age: 18 and over
NearMe.Careers is for people aged 18 and over. Applying asks for a date of birth, and someone who gives a date under 18 is refused before any code is sent. Employers must not hire a person under 18 through the app, whatever that person says.
9. What an employer receives about an applicant, and what they may do with it
- An application carries the worker's name and phone number, and, if the worker added them, a LINE ID, a WhatsApp number, the kinds of work they have done, and a short message.
- Use these details only to contact that person about that job. That is what the worker is told when they send the application, and it is the limit of what they agreed to.
- Do not add an applicant to a marketing list, sell their details, pass them to anyone else, or use them for a different job without asking.
- Do not ask an applicant for money, for a document to keep, or for anything the job itself does not need.
- Once those details are in your hands, the law treats you, and not us, as responsible for what you do with them.
A worker who wants their data removed can write to hello@getjobnearme.com. The privacy policy explains how that works and how long each kind of record is kept.
10. Ratings
- After a job is finished both sides can rate each other: stars, a few set tags, and an optional line of writing.
- Ratings are double-blind. Neither side sees what the other wrote until both have sent theirs, or until 7 days have passed.
- A rating must be about the work — what was agreed, what happened, whether the wage was paid. It may not carry insults, threats, or another person's private details.
- Either side can dispute a rating written about them. A disputed rating is reviewed, and it can be hidden.
We do not sell ratings, we do not edit them to favour anyone, and we do not take down a fair rating because the person it is about asks us to.
11. Reporting, takedown, and suspension
- Every job post has a report button. Use it when a post looks false, dangerous, or like a scam.
- A formal complaint about an unlawful post follows the notification of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of B.E. 2565, issued under section 15 of the Computer Crime Act. We send a copy of the complaint to the person who posted the job; we do not send them the complainant's address.
- That notification allows seven days for a complaint of this kind. Our own target is 24 hours.
- We can hide a post, close a listing, suspend an account, or refuse a new one, when these terms are broken. A suspension is recorded with a reason.
- The support form in the app reaches the NearMe team for anything else — a problem with a job, a wage, a rating, or the app itself.
If you are being forced to work, your documents have been taken, or you are afraid you were tricked into a job, call the 1300 hotline of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security — free, 24 hours.
12. What we do not promise
- The service is provided as it is. It can be slow, it can be down, and a feature can change or stop.
- "Phone verified" means one thing only: that the number received our code and someone typed it back. It is not a check on the person, the shop, or the job, and it is not our recommendation.
- The employer record shows counts — how many jobs were posted, how many workers confirmed they were paid. It is a count, not an opinion, and a new employer with no history is not thereby a bad one.
- We do not promise that a worker will be hired, or that an employer will find someone.
- We do not promise that a job is real, that the pay is right, that the workplace is safe, or that anyone will keep their word.
- We do not check identity documents, work permits, criminal records, or anyone's right to work.
So before you go: check what the employer has done before, meet at the real shop or work site, never pay anyone to get a job, and never hand over your original identity card. Before you take someone on: agree the wage and the hours plainly, and never charge a job seeker money.
13. Who is responsible when something goes wrong
- NearMe is not an employer, not an employment agency, and not a party to the work agreement or to any payment between an employer and a worker. We put two people in touch; what they agree after that is theirs.
- So we take no responsibility for whether the work happens, for how well it is done, or for whether the wage is paid — late, short, or not at all.
- We are not responsible for injury, illness, theft, damage, or loss that happens at work or on the way to it.
- We are not responsible for what another user writes, promises, or does, on the app or off it.
- What we are responsible for is the paid posting service itself, the part an employer pays us for. If we get that wrong, our responsibility to that employer is limited to the amount that employer paid NearMe in the 12 months before the claim.
That amount means money paid to NearMe for credits. It never means wages an employer owes a worker: those are not ours to hold, not ours to pay, and no limit written here touches them. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that Thai consumer or labour law gives you.
14. Stopping, and deleting an account
- A worker stops by stopping. There is no account to close.
- An employer can ask us to delete the account from inside the app. The account is deleted within 30 days, and the request can be cancelled during that time.
- A worker can ask us to delete their applications, work record, and ratings by writing to hello@getjobnearme.com. We will ask you to verify the phone number first, so that nobody else can delete your record.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.
Some records stay after a deletion because a law requires it — accounting and tax records, and the traffic logs the Computer Crime Act requires a service provider to keep. The privacy policy lists each one and how long it is kept.
15. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top changes, and that date is always the version in force. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using the service after a change has taken effect means you accept it.
16. Law, disputes, and how to reach us
These terms are governed by the law of Thailand.
A dispute we cannot settle between us goes to the courts of Thailand. We name no particular court.
